Commuter rail links Denton, Highland Village and Lewisville to the DART Green Line in Carrollton

The A-Train commuter rail began operating June 18th linking riders from downtown Denton to Carrollton, to connect with DART's Green Line rail or a DART bus. The 21 mile corridor includes two stops in Denton, one in Highland Village, two in Lewisville including one directly adhacent to the Huffines Communities Resort Apartment Home development, Hebron 121 Station, and ends at the DART Trinity Mills station.

Huffines Communities breaks ground on big mixed-use project in Lewisville

Developers broke ground Thursday afternoon on a mixed-use development that will take advantage of Denton County's first commuter rail line. The 90-acre Hebron 121 Station project is being built in Lewisville by Huffines Communities. The $300 million development will have more than 1,700 apartments and 250,000 square feet of retail and office space.

Development planned for Lewisville commuter-train station

The A-train commuter railway is more than a year away from rolling into Lewisville, but plans are already in the works for the city's first transit-oriented development.

Hebron 121 Station will be part of a 427-acre city reinvestment zone on the northeast corner of Interstate 35E and the State Highway 121 bypass. The developer is describing it as the largest transit-oriented development in Texas. Huffines Communities Inc. is the primary developer of the project.
